Comedian Rhod Gilbert has won a Welsh BAFTA Cymru award for Best Presenter as the host of Rhod Gilbert's Work Experience.

Accepting the award Gilbert said: "Hi BAFTA, Thank you very much. As you can see we’ve come to wonderful *Cannes to celebrate this award very grateful. A lot of people to thank and not much time, thanks very much to the wonderful production crew, BBC Wales for repeatedly commissioning this series, Cardiff Council and the care community who allowed us in and made it happen. Most of all of course to the wonderful carers, Ceri-Ann, Lizzie, Emma and the rest of the crew who allowed us to highlight the wonderful job that they do, and their patients Betty, Merv, Rocky, Anna, Neil, Dave and everyone at College Fields Nursing home, thank you very, very much. This means a lot to me this one my dad died in care home shortly after we filmed this and this is for carers everywhere. Thank you very much. Diolch yn fawr iawn."
