Rescheduled Tour Dates For Andrew Bird

UK Comedy Awards Winners Announced

Following a successful debut tour culminating at The Leicester Square Theatre and a recording of a sold out hometown gig. Andrew Bird is back with a brand new show.

Riding a wave of success after supporting Michael McIntyre on the UK leg of his Big World Tour, including sell out shows at the O2 and Wembley, Andrew will be taking to the stage on his UK Tour Invincible.

As well as supporting Michael McIntyre he has also supported Rob Brydon, John Bishop and was hand-picked by American Brian Regan for his only UK show and in July 2021. He also supported Russell Howard for a series of shows at Bristol City’s Football Stadium this summer.

Bird has written for TV shows 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Jon Richardson’s Ultimate Worrier, and Lee Mack’s Duck Quacks Don’t Echo.

He has his own podcast where he chats to comedians about music called “A Funny Taste in Music”.

After the traumatic event of seeing revered, legendary comedian Ian Cognito literally die on stage of a heart attack in front of him in 2019 and the fallout making global news, it’s hard to take anything seriously.

Brutally honest stand-up with free-flowing stories and opinions on Prince Andrew, “Burkinis” and being possibly the only comedian who can talk about flying on a private plane without being hated for it.

Andrew grew up in a small town in Northants, moved to London and worked in a pub; married a Slovakian girl, moved back to a small town and had children. When he was young he thought that you and the people you look up to are “Invincible”. Then you have to single-handedly home-school two children, dispose of a dead pet chicken and buy a new mattress (dead chicken and new mattress stories are not related).

The Andrew Bird tour starts on October 1 at the Royal and Derngate in Northampton. Click here for full list of dates and ticket links.
