Romesh Ranganathan features in two shows nominated for Best Comedy Entertainment Show in the Bafta TV Award nominations list and TV Craft Awards announced today.
The nominations are Charlie Brooker's AntiViral Wipe, The Big Narstie Show. Rob & Romesh Vs and The Ranganation.
This Country is up for four nominations – Writer: Comedy, Female Performance in a Comedy Programme, Male Performance in a Comedy Programme and Scripted Comedy. Inside No 9 is up for two awards - Reece Shearsmith in Best Male Comedy Performance and Best Scripted Comedy Award. Friday Night Dinner's Paul Ritter who died recently is also up for Best Male Comedy Performance.
The winners of the Craft awards will be announced on May 24 and the TV awards will be announced on 6 June, including Virgin Media's Must-See Moment - the only award voted by the public.
