The Nationwide Building Society is running ads again and viewers are wondering who the people are in them again. So hopefully this will help.

One of the ads aired during a previous lockdown in 2020, but feels just as relevant today. The female comedian talking about what she has learnt in lockdown is Laura Smyth, who won the Funny Women Award in 2019. She also appeared last year on ITV1 on Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club. Another recent Nationwide ad features the comedian Andy Storey, whose speciality is "clean observational comedy about social anxiety and human awkwardness". He adds on his website that he puts Silvikrin firm hold hairspray on my beard. Read more about him here.
