News: Final Series Of Still Game To Air On BBC Scotland In 2019

Iconic BBC comedy Still Game will premiere its ninth - and final series - on the new BBC Scotland channel when it launches on Sunday 24 February 2019.

The six-part comedy series, made by BBC Studios, will debut on the new channel followed by BBC One when it airs Still Game later in the year, giving fans two chances to bid a fond farewell to pensioner pals Jack and Victor, as they go into TV comedy retirement.

Update 8/11: Three more gigs at SSE Hydro have just been added on Friday 11 October 2019 at 7.30pm and Sat 12 October 2019 at 2.30pm & 7.30pm. Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 9 at 10am at the link below.

News: Stars Line Up For Final Still Game

Stars of TV, film and music including Martin Compston, Midge Ure and Amy Macdonald will appear as guest cast in the ninth series of Still Game, made by BBC Studios in Scotland for BBC One.

Acclaimed TV actors Martin Compston (Line of Duty) and Taggart’s James MacPherson take on new one-off character roles while music chart-toppers Midge Ure, Amy Macdonald, Clare Grogan make cameo appearances in the new six-part series along with DJ and presenter Des Clarke.

News: Still Game Returns

Scottish sitcom Still Game returns for another hilarious six-part series following the adventures of lifelong friends Jack Jarvis and Victor McDade as they cope with everything modern life throws at them.

Created, written by and starring Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill, each week Still Game visits the fictional Glasgow suburb of Craiglang where Jack, Victor and the rest of the gang show comedy fans exactly how to grow old disgracefully.

News: Still Game Goes Onstage Again

There are to be more live dates for Scottish sitcom Still Game in February 2017. This follows the news that the new series is moving to BBC1 when it returns in October.

The cast, led by Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill as pensioners Jack and Victor, will be reuniting for dates at Glasgow's SSE Hydro on February 4, 5, 7- 11.
