Lindsey Evans, Publishing Director of Headline Home, has bought World rights in Living with Hearing Loss and Deafness: A guide to owning it and loving it from Jo Bell at Bell, Lomax, Moreton. The author is award-winning comedian, actress and broadcaster Samantha Baines who found herself with hearing loss at the age of 30.

Comedian Samnatha Baines has signed her first book deal.

Knights Of, the inclusive publisher founded in 2017, is to publish her debut novel HARRIET!.

This adventure book centres around Harriet who suddenly realises that her hearing-aid can do more than she ever bargained for. Discovering that her family secretly work for an inter-galactic agency, Harriet’s hearing aid helps her understand aliens from across the universe. If only she could understand her own feelings.

Comedians Samantha Baines and David Morgan have been cast in the forthcoming West End stage production of Magic Mike Live.

The immersive show takes its cue from the Hollywood comedy drama about an all-male revue which starred Channing Tatum.

News: Funny Women Awards Final

This Monday the Leicester Square Theatre plays host to the 12th Funny Women Awards Final. Over the years the awards have unearthed some of the finest new female comedy talent from the UK and beyond. Previous winners have included Katherine Ryan (2008), who comperes this year’s final, and Andi Osho (2007). Finalists have included Sarah Millican, who was a runner-up in 2005, and Bridget Christie (2004). Susan Calman, Kerry Godliman, Gemma Whelan and Roisin Conaty are four more performers who got early breaks through Funny Women.
