Big Tour For Eshaan Akbar

Comedian Eshaan Akbar will be heading off on his biggest tour to date with a brand new show for 2025. Tickets are one sale from Friday 1st March from www.eshaanakbar.com.

Kicking off in Milton Keynes on 6th February 2025, Eshaan will then take in a further 37 dates across the UK before closing in London at the iconic Hackney Empire on 12th April 2025.

Comedian Eshaan Akbar has announced his first ever solo live tour with his brand new show ‘The Pretender’ which kicks off in Bristol on the 23rd of February 2023 and concludes at London’s Leicester Square Theatre on the 28th April  2023. Tickets go on sale Friday 15th July at link below.

News: First Comedian Of Bengali Heritage On Mock The Week

Comedian Eshaan Akbar becomes the first comedian of Bengali heritage to appear on panel show Mock The Week.

The episode featuring Akbar airs on BBC One on Friday, November 1 at 10pm.

Akbar was born in Whitechapel, grew up in Essex and studied economics at Queen Mary College, University of London. 

Before going into stand-up full-time he worked for Barclays Bank, specialising in wealth management for celebrities.  

He won the Piccadilly Comedy Club New Comedian of the Year 2016.

Live Review: Piccadilly Comedy Club New Comedian of the Year 2016

If you want to get ahead in stand-up get a beard. Not very fair on female comedians, but that seemed to be the message during the first comedy final of 2016. Facial hair dominated the competition, which featured seven entrants chosen by Piccadilly Comedy Club boss Mike Manera. It was no surprise then that the winner was a close shave.
