News: Kieran Hodgson Nominated for Breakthrough Award

Kieran Hodgson has been nominated for the annual Times Breakthrough Award at the The South Bank Sky Arts Awards.

Hodgson has been nominaed following the success of his Edinburgh Fringe show Maestro. He notched up a second successive Edinburgh Comedy Award last summer for this autobiographical coming-of-age tale of young love and classical music ambition in which he played various characters.

He is currently touring Maestro and also working on a new Radio 4 series about classical music entitled Earworms.

The winner of the award will be announced at a ceremony on July 9 which will be broadcast on Sky Arts on July 12 at 8pm
