Filmed on location and in front of a live studio audience, the star will be joined by Harry Enfield (Harry & Paul), writer and comedian Meera Syal (Goodness Gracious Me), Jack Whitehall (Bad Education), Sheridan Smith (The C Word) and award-winning actress Miranda Richardson (Mapp And Lucia).

The series will also feature a Christmas special with actor Hugh Bonneville (W1A) joining David. The show also stars Morgana Robinson (Morgana Robinson’s The Agency) and Mike Wozniak (Man Down).

Written by David Walliams and the Dawson Brothers, Walliams & Friend was commissioned by Shane Allen and Gregor Sharp for the BBC and is being made by King Bert Productions.
