Comedian Simon Lomas (pictured) has won the Great Yorkshire Fringe New Comedian of the Year 2016 tonight.
Runner-up was President Obonjo. Third place went to Stanley Brooks
The other finalists were Amy Vreeke, The Private Gentlemen's Yacht Club, Hugh Raine, Monty Burns and Neil Harris
MC was Mick Ferry and the show also featured a set from last year's winner Tom Taylor.
