Update 3/12: Pajama Men made their $26,000 target below and still have half the campaign left to run. They have now added a reach-goal and want to get to $40,000 so they can make two episodes of their planned sitcom.

They are having a fundraising gala for the project on 15th December at Soho Theatre. Details here.

Acclaimed physical comedy duo Pajama Men have launched a Kickstarter campaign to crowdfund their own TV series.

The duo, Shenoah Allen and Mark Chavez, describe their pitch as "Arrested Development meets Bob’s Burgers with the mysterious slant of Twin Peaks". The proposed show will be called Brothers in Law. Scott’s weekly newspaper is failing so badly he’s forced to run operations out of his own home. Can his criminal brother in law help him make his business work?

Among the comic talent signed up to appear are stand-up Glenn Wool, Gemma Whelan, Ronny Chieng, Amber Nash, Andrew Maxwell and Dino Archie. Animator Jeff Drew and composer Ryan Elder are also on board.

Rewards for funders include having your photo appear in an episode ($200), having our heroes write your name on a post-it note, stick it to a stranger and send you video proof ($75), And possibly the most important one those who donate at least $35 get their very own digital copy of the show. Pajama Men also bring their latest live show, a decidedly loose reworking of the Three Musketeers story, to Soho Theatre from November 23 to December 12. Tickets here.
