News: Russell Kane Announces "Right Man, Wrong Age" UK Tour

Russell Kane

Russell Kane has announced a UK tour starting Barnstaple on February 25 and including six nights at London’s Leicester Square Theatre in April.

Kane's new show is called Right Man, Wrong Age, which sounds like a reference to the running joke on the comedy circuit that Kane has been economical with the truth about his date of birth. In the recent BBC3 comedy Murder in Successville, for instance, one of the characters in an old people's home was supposed to be Kane.

According to the tour announcement press release the show is about not feeeling your age. "Are you 16-years-old, yet feel 21? Are you 40, but tragically faking 25? Or maybe you’re full-on 80 years, with the heart of three oxen and the sex drive of a bonobo chimp. Don’t worry: this is normal. No one is ever the ‘right’ age - it's is the beauty and the curse of being a real person."

Kane’s brand new DVD, a special one off show ‘Russell Kane ‘Live’, recorded in London’s West End, will be available from Monday 30th November through Universal Pictures (UK).
