Ventriloquist Keith Harris has died.

Harris, who was 67, was most famous for his work with Orville the duck. 

His agent Robert C Kelly said on Twitter: "Sad to announce death from cancer of my client, dear friend and great talent, Keith Harris,"

Harris had a top 10 hit in 1982 with I Wish I Could Fly, in 1982. 

He also had another regular puppet, Cuddles the monkey.

The Keith Harris Show ran on BBC1 for eight years from 1982 to 1990. Harris appeared on five Royal and Children's Royal Variety Performances and was interviewed by Louis Theroux on his BBC series.

Harris had been suffering from cancer of the spleen.
