Comedy duo Trevor Neal and Simon Hickson are to be reunited for a new series entitled Strangeness in Space. Details are still under wraps but the project is believed to be a mix of science and comedy. Also appearing in the programme is Sophie Aldred, best known for playing Dr Who's companion Ace in the 1980s.

The comedy duo, who became famous when they appeared regularly on children's Saturday morning show Going Live! in the 1980s, announced the news on Twitter today and suggested that fans should follow @strangeness_in for more news next week. Full details will be announced on March 15.

In other news folk duo The Singing Corner, who some believe are the alter egos of Trevor & Simon, are also getting back together shortly in aid of Comic Relief. They will be doing a gig in a cafe called The Archie Parker in Forest Hill, South London on Comic Relief Day, March 13. For more info about the gig and to donate see here.
