New Tour For Luisa Omielan

New Tour For Luisa Omielan

Luisa Omielan is a comedic force of nature. The first stand-up to receive a BAFTA Breakthrough accolade, with four consecutive smash hit shows, she is credited with creating 'genre-defining' one- woman shows. Most recently, a self-produced special called 'God is a Woman'. She's been described as masterminding 'one of the biggest stand-up hits of the decade' with her debut 'What Would Beyonce Do?!' and now in 2024, Luisa will return with a brand-new show: Bitter.

Luisa's fans know she is incredible, hilarious, life-changing and a f*cking superstar, but she's also endured years of being told she's too loud, too crass, and too emotional. Now she's over it; the world doesn't make any sense. Following the rules hasn't worked for her, so she's going to write some new ones.

Luisa says: "Working hard doesn't cut it. The whole game feels rigged. Whatever you do, don’t complain about it. Just smile, bitch. Write your gratitude journal and manifest. Everyone in power seems to be either a self-serving, egotistical maniac or have the moral backbone of a flaccid dead fish. Is it any wonder more women are choosing to stay single and not have children?! Not me! Not by choice, anyway. My single childless status is purely thanks to my beautiful cock blocking dog, she's very protective!'

Is she bitter? Of course she is. Are you angry? You should be. Is Bitter a comedy show? Absof*ckinglutely.

Promising to be one of many tour highlights is Luisa's annual Valentine's Party, a staple in calendars for over ten years. Luisa is proud to have created a fun, safe, comedy space for women and people from the LGBTQ community to feel celebrated. The event has grown from 150 to 1000 capacity and continues to be a labour of love. This year, Luisa will keep it cosy, incorporating the Valentine's Party into her London show at the Clapham Grand: "After the gig, we'll knock out a power ballad and some En Vogue on Spotify and still have you on the last train home".

Luisa is also the creator & host of the podcast Famous With A Baby…And Other Sh*t That Hasn't Worked Out Yet, a podcast about where life is at, not where it should be, what 'success' at 40 looks like with d*ck jokes and social commentary.
