Excellent comedy contingent on Sunday Brunch this week, with John Robins, Jamie Demetriou and Judi Love joining Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer in the kitchen/studio.

John Robins has built up a cult following for his BBC Radio 5 show and spin-off podcast with Elis James. Together they discuss matters from thre trivial to the serious, with Robins often homing in on his obsessiveness about getting his domestic affairs in order and talking about embarrassing moments in their Shame Well section. They are also producing a Comic Relief calender inspired by John Robins meticulously doing his tax returns. You can buy it here. And they are also doing live performances of the increasingly popular segment in their Radio 5 show Made Up Games, which is exactly what the title suggests. Jamie Demetriou is best known as the star and creator of the hit Channel 4 sitcom Stath Lets Flats, but he now has his own special on Netflix which is part-sketch-show part spoof autobiography. A Whole Lifetime with Jamie Demetriou takes the audience on a journey from birth to death through the ever adored medium of song and sketch - unpacking the most crucial, embarrassing, heartening and ultimately futile stages of a life lived in the anxious modern day. It also features familiar comedy faces including  Ellie White, Sian Clifford from Fleabag, Jon Pointing and Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Katy Wix from Ghosts. 

Judi Love has become one of the most familiar faces on TV in recent years, cropping up in programmes ranging from Celebrity Masterchef to Strictly Come Dancing. After a career in social care she became a stand-up comedian and now returns to her comedy roots with her debut national tour, The One Like. Dates are here.
